Audience members at last night's KCET Cinema Series got an early screening of "My Week with Marilyn," a film based on books by Colin Clark.
About the film:
The film is based on two books by Colin Clark, and depicts the making of the 1957 film THE PRINCE AND THE SHOWGIRL, and focuses on the week in which Marilyn Monroe spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark, after her husband Arthur Miller left the country. Stars of the film include: Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, and Emma Watson.
After the screening, host Pete Hammond led a Q&A with first time director Simon Curtis. Curtis talked about the Michelle Williams performance and the benefit of filming on location. Below you'll find pictures taken at the screening:
