Congresswoman Judy Chu embodies the dramatic political and social changes that have affected the Chinese American population in Los Angeles and the United States over the last fifty years. Chu represents the 32nd District, one of the most ethnically and economically diverse districts in the nation. Through her leadership and that of her husband, Mike Eng, the area has seen the birth of many political multi-ethnic coalitions that will define American politics for generations to come.
