Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa invites you to participate in the Los Angeles River Day of Service, this Saturday, April 30, 2011.
This is your chance to participate, volunteer, and donate your time to help revitalize the L.A. River. Here are some of the activities scheduled for the day.
At Rio de Los Angeles State Park, 1900 N. San Fernando Rd., Los Angeles, CA 90065:
At 14 sites along the entire length of the L.A. River:

- Volunteer Celebration Party with Ozomatli 12 noon-2 p.m.
Come celebrate the L.A. River with food, music and festivities including a performance by Ozomatli, who will present the winning entries of the Songs of the River project. - LA River StoryShare 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
