With their mural, La Estrella takes an interesting route--instead of showing its food, they portray the atmosphere and crowd at their restaurant. The sign definitely captures the essence of its business, and offers a glimpse into an aspect of sign painting that we haven't discussed yet.

A Q&A with Awesome Playground, one of five businesses selected for the Full Dollar Collection in Highland Park, Los Angeles. The business' facade will be recreated by a select sign painter in collaboration with the business owner and a contemporary artist.
