Michelle Lanz, Associate Producer for KCET New Media, submitted this map for the "Map Your L.A." contest. Michelle's map plays with scale and space, using well known landmarks in Los Angeles like the Staples Center sign Downtown to illustrate location within the city. As in real life (and perhaps to actual scale) cars lined in continuous traffic traverse the streets from Compton to the beach and beyond.
