In the blink of an L.A minute,
your glittery dreams
are spiked with grilled peppers
a spicy, sun-drenched kiss
that flavors our conversations
as we sip jasmine tea (with boba)
on your asphalt back
I glow from within--
and pause, knowingly
before
waking up
