Jodie Evans Outside the Code Pink Venice Office
A KCET produced Departures community story
Jodie Evans is a highly active social activist being the cofounder of Code Pink, in helping to establish a second 826LA, and working in gang intervention with Venice 2000--and that's only in Venice. Evans has been politically and socially involved in various national and international organizations and worked on Jerry Brown's cabinet as Director of Administration. She was drawn to Venice specifically because of community. She feels through Venice, she can build a community and be embraced for it by her neighbors.
