Originally the site of a Hahamongna settlement, this vast open space is a rare area where the mountainous watershed meets the urban plain and offers beautiful unobstructed views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Situated next to the world famous Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the watershed offers prime oak woodland and five unique habitat zones. Visit this park to take an easy walk on its interconnected system of hiking trails, enjoy lunch at one of the many picnic facilities or kick a ball around on the multi-purpose playing field. There is also equestrian access to Arroyo Seco trails in the watershed (to have access to equestrian facilities and equipment in the park, consider becoming a member of the Rose Bowl Riders).
If you want to try something new, check out the popular 18-hole disc golf course, the world's first permanent disc golf course.
The main entrance of Hahamongna Watershed Park is located right off the intersection of Oak Grove Dr and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge.
BIKE: Bicycle riding in the park is permitted on the various paved routes throughout the park but not on the hiking trails. You can enter at the entrance off of Oak Grove Dr.
CAR: From Downtown LA take the 5 North to the 2 North. Next, merge onto the 210 East and exit on Gould Ave. Turn right onto Gould Ave. and then take the first left onto Foothill Blvd. In about 1 mile you will reach the Foothill/Oak Grove intersection, where you will find the park entrance.

Established in the early 1970s, the goal of disc golf is to finish the course in as few shots as possible. Disc golf is an inexpensive recreational sport for people of all ages. All you need is a Frisbee, which you can purchase up the road from Alcorn Beverage at 448 Foothill Blvd, and a willingness to learn the rules of the game.
The course is located near the main entrance to the park.

In 1915, Dr. Roy Lanterman commissioned architect A. L. Haley to design this bungalow of reinforced concrete and includes various arts and crafts elements.
