THE HERITAGE SQUARE/ARROYO GOLD LINE STATION features art by Robert Delgado. Through reliefs and tile designs, the artist incorporates Mesoamerican and contemporary themes.
Artwork includes a piece made of concrete assembled in the image of the Mesoamerican deity Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent. There are also a number of vibrant tiles with old photographs of Los Angeles imbedded on them that adorn the station platform. It's a short walk to restaurants and the Heritage Square Museum.
TRANSIT: The Gold Line runs through East LA, Downtown Los Angeles, Highland Park, and Pasadena. Heritage Square/Arroyo is three stations north of Downtown's Union Station.
Heritage Square Museum
A walk through this museum transports visitors back to the Southern California lifestyles at the end of the 19th century. Guided tours offer exploration and explanation of the eight historical structures as well as the lives of the people who influenced the development of Los Angeles.

Brothers Adam and Josef Bray-Ali use their bike rental shop, Flying Piegon, to bring together the Highland Park Bike community for "Get Sum Dim Sum" rides, art gallery tours, and other recurring and one-off bike rides and tours.
