Guilliermo Berajano, artist and Chicano Rights activist
Guillermo Berajano is an artist associated with the Chicano Arts Movement in the 1970s. He is the former member many active collective in Highland Park during the movement including, the Mechicano Art Center, Concilio de Arte Popular, Centro de Arte Público, and Chisme-Arte Magazine where he worked as the editor and art director. Today he maintains an online archive of his original artwork and those from his peers on NetworkAztlan.com. He shared his experiences during the Chicano Arts Movement with Departures for "Painting the Walls."
