Fugetsu-Do Brings Good Fortune

For over a century, a little family-owned store in Little Tokyo has satisfied the sweet teeth of Angelenos with their unique brand of traditional Japanese confectioneries. Brian Kito, fourth generation owner of Fugetsu-Do, keeps the family tradition alive by creating delicate mochi and manju sweets, not to mention the fortune cookie -- an invention of his grandfather, according to family legend.
