What has been your experience with the L.A. River?
My experience with the river is occasionally driving by it or over it and whenever there are big storms, seeing it get a little crazy.
How would you envision a "Riverfront District" in Northeast L.A.?
If there was a riverfront here I would envision it with a sandy bank a place to stand and fish or a place to lounge for the weekend or a park nearby for kids to go to.
What would you like to see along the river, in terms of recreation and revitalization?
I think if they revitalized the L.A. River because out here you're not near the ocean or it would still take a while to get to the ocean, there's probably inner-city families that don't go out to ocean and they could get out and see the water, maybe go fishing and get away from the city. If there was recreation along the river I would like to sees playgrounds, a park, maybe a BBQ, a place to go and set up a blanket and have a picnic on the river.
If there was one place in Northeast L.A. that you would change, where would it be and how would you change it?
There are lot of places that have a lot of trash and there's an odor, so it would be nice for it be clean and smell free.
Fill in the blank: "I want my L.A. River to be..."
I want my L.A. River to be clean.
