Story Share in Venice

Last Sunday Departures held its first Story Share in Venice. Helped by our friends at SPARC we spent the day collecting stories, photographs and memorabilia from those who stopped in with stories to share about Venice.

We recorded stories ranging from very personal memories of family or loved ones to tales from the past at favorite spots along the boardwalk or Abbot Kinney Blvd that no longer exist. The team was impressed with the many stories that could only ever happen in Venice.

Departures shared the event with 826LA which included poetry readings, and the Venice Historical Society. The Venice Paparazzi caught us at the end of the day. Check out the stories, and more photo's of Story Share in our Departures community section.
