Departures is collecting poems about Los Angeles to add to it's collection from neighborhoods: L.A. River, Chinatown, Venice and Richland Farms. This is a chance to submit your own poem about this extraordinary city. Help us re-imagine Los Angeles through a poetic lens. Your work will be featured on our Departures Poetry L.A. Style page alongside legendaries like Frank Rios and Suzane Lummis, as well as other community members who celebrate our great city in verse, beats, licks, and song. Join the conversation and submit your poem today.
Submit your poem using the entry form below. If you have any trouble, please feel free to email us.
Support for the Departures is provided through these funders as well as local community partners and viewers like you.
