Our number one focus is to help the El Monte community by building a dog park. Now it doesn't sound like much but it takes quite a bit of doing.
Our team passed out postcards that asked, "What do you want to see at the first dog park in El Monte?" and "Could this be the site of El Monte's first dog park?"
"I want my dogs to be free and roam around -- not be caged up."
It's important to be able to convey ideas clearly, both in person and in your correspondence. As difficult as this may be it's a skill that is worth mastering.
