Youth Voices Student Producer Bryant Recinos takes us on a virtual tour of key places along the L.A. River into Elysian Valley, Atwater Village and Glassell Park.

The best part of my mural is being able to show where I come from.

I selected each spot because they are places I grew up around. Vince's market has been a part of the community of Atwater Village for decades. Foster freeze is relatively new compared to Vince's but a scene from Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" was filmed there, which makes it important especially in movie history.

Rudy shares with us his experiences and the hot spots in his neighborhood that are important to him, including one four legged beauty named Pancha.

I featured 4 hotspots in my mural. My favorite part of the mural project was going around to the different locations and taking pictures.

All the places I included are places I go to often, where I've made memories, and places where I believe there is a long history that visitors to the neighborhood may know and appreciate.
