Angelica Trujillo
Angelica Trujillo, a junior at Venice High School, used to live in Venice with her family. Like so many families who once lived in the Venice community, the Trujillos were pushed out of Venice. Last year, she relocated down the street to Culver City after her landlord sold the apartment complex to real estate developers. Angelica fondly remembers her old home. To her, it symbolized her youth where she would spend most of her time, playing with neighbors. We visited her and her family at their new apartment.
