Share your musical skills and knowledge with students, ages 7-18. The Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley is looking for volunteers who are passionate about music and want share their passion with children! Our Club is looking to create a music program to offer free of charge to our students.
Help us get started! This unpaid volunteer position will be responsible for working with Boys & Girls Club staff members to plan and establish a music program for student Club members. Examples of service duties include: one-on-one and/or group music instruction; obtaining musical instruments, sheet music, and other required supplies; putting on concerts at the Club for family and Club staff and members; and being a mentor. This position is great for music majors in college (for service hours or as an internship); retired persons with music histories; persons not currently working full-time; or anyone looking to share their love and knowledge of music.
