Storms Damage Trails, Roads in Inyo National Forest

News Briefs:
Two late July storms that brought the Sierra Nevada the Aspen Fire and numerous road closures in Death Valley also left trails and roads damaged in Inyo National Forest.
Transportation:
An effort by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) to promote customer installations of chargers for electric cars was so successful that the utility is expanding it. DWP will be offering rebates up to $750 for residents and businesses in its service area who install fast charging stations.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced today it has settled a two-year fight over water rights with the Mammoth Community Water District of Mammoth Lakes.
