"Being able to impact and ease the lives of in need Holocaust survivors living below the poverty line is a transforming and special blessing."
In 2007, the Goldstine's established the Abner D. and Roslyn Goldstine Fund for Holocaust Survivors through the nonprofit organization, Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles (JFS). The fund provides a sense of hope and dignity to aging, low-income Holocaust survivors and their families who need food, shelter and essential health services. The fund has helped about 267 survivors and counting.
"Continuing a family legacy of volunteerism, sharing my good fortunes, passionate about helping, the feeling of fulfillment from playing a small part in improving society...philanthropy is phenomenal!"
