Two great bands of the '70s join forces with a legendary comedy duo for one rockin' event on KCET!
WAR, The Family Stone, and Cheech & Chong will all be jamming together on one stage as part of their all new "Hot Summer Nights -- Up in Smoke" concert tour. In this KCET special, Lonnie Jordan (the lead singer of WAR), Greg Errico (original drummer of The Family Stone), and the incomparable Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong discuss their plans for this year's exciting concert live at the Greek Theatre.
This KCET special event features footage of some of WAR's greatest hits, including "Why Can't We Be Friends?" and "Low Rider," as well as live favorites like "The Cisco Kid."
With a set list full of WAR's funky, groovy jams that helped to define a generation -- this special is an unforgettable musical experience from one of America's best live bands, along with the comic stylings of Cheech & Chong.
