Oops! Fireworks Simultaneously Ignite at San Diego's 4th of July Show

San Diego's Fourth of July fireworks show is boasted as one of the largest in the country -- now it can take the claim as one of the shortest. A technical error tonight led to nearly all of its fireworks igniting at once for a show that lasted about 15 seconds.
Officials said in a statement posted to its event homepage that signals tested properly before the show, and the cause is under investigation. "We sincerely apologize for the technical glitch that affected the #BigBayBoom," read a tweet posted by the Port of San Diego.
