Alex Zaragoza
Alex Zaragoza is a freelance writer covering arts and culture in San Diego and Tijuana. Born in San Diego and largely raised in Tijuana, she works to share the cross-cultural, binational experience through her work and as guest or host at various cultural programs. Alex writes a weekly culture report for Voice of San Diego and a monthly column for the alt weekly San Diego CityBeat called There She Goz, for which she explores major social topics, like feminism, women's issues, race and the Mexican-American experience, through an activity. Her culture journalism has also appeared in Sunset Magazine, Vice, Artpulse, Pacific San Diego Magazine, KPBS and others.
