About Me:
I'm the new media editor for SoCal Connected, KCET's half-hour weekly television news magazine. I also write a segment called "The Vault" on KPCC 89.3's Town Hall Journal. Before changing careers and nabbing a master's degree in online journalism from USC's Annenberg School, I was an educator of sorts, spending a year in Japan as an assistant English teacher and otherwise providing intensive intervention for at-risk and special needs students in literacy and language comprehension.
