Christopher Langley
About Me:
Chris Langley was born in New York, graduated from Dartmouth and served two years in Peace Corps Iran. He taught for over 35 years and now is the film commissioner for Inyo County. He is Executive Director of the Lone Pine Film History Museum. He has written two books, one on Lone Pine, California and another on Mount Whitney. He is at work on a biography of silent director Clarence Badger; one on the film history of Death Valley entitled "Death, Doom and Destruction" and a book seeking the true face of the Mojave with photographer Osceola Refetoff entitled "Desert Chimera."
He lives with his wife Sandy in Lone Pine, California and has for the last 41 years. He has been associated with Lauren Bon and the Metabolic Studio for the last six years.
