Rafa Saavedra
About Me:
Rafa Saavedra is a writer and freelance journalist. His work has been published in magazines and culture supplements in Mexico. He has been editor and coeditor of several fanzines and independent publications. He is the author of the books This Is Not an Exit: Postcards of Leisure and Hate (The Spine, 1996); Buten Smileys (Yoremito, 1997); Away from Noise (Moho, 2003); and Crossfader 2.0 (Nortestación, 2011). In 2010 he won the State Prize for Literature in Cultural Journalism awarded by the Institute of Culture of Baja California. Since 2001 he has been the producer and host of the Selector de Frecuencias radio show.
