Every May, the nation pays tribute to the generations of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America's history and culture.

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have a rich heritage that goes back thousands of years. They have continually inspired generations with their resilience and creativity, and have contributed to the growth and incredible diversity of the United States.
