KCET Visionary Awards
The KCET Visionary Award honors those individuals whose actions and ideas help transform our region and the world around us. Their ongoing commitment to improving civic life in Southern California and beyond reflects the vision and values of KCET, which for nearly five decades has played a vital role in strengthening the fabric of our local community.
Drawing its honorees from a who's who of forward-looking philanthropists, the KCET Visionary Award recognizes leaders in business, government, education and the arts. Past recipients include Eli Broad, Nancy Daly and Mayor Richard Riordan, Marion and John Anderson, Barbara and Stephen Bollenbach, Kelly and Robert Day, Kathryn and Steven Sample, Tina and Rick Caruso, Diane and Bob Malone, Bernadette and Timothy Leiweke and Michele B. Chan and Patrick Soon-Shiong, MD.
Through their support of arts and culture, healthcare, education and the well-being of children, these individuals share KCET's dedication to making a difference in the lives of countless individuals. The KCET Visionary Award celebrates their passion with a star-studded annual gala that pays tribute to their remarkable contributions.
