VIEWER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
telephone inquiries related to Member & Viewer Services and programming. Handle inbound/outbound calls and written
correspondence as they relate to membership and programming. Assist the Department Director with
collection and data entry processing of membership and programming data
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
inbound calls pertaining to Member & Viewer service issues, update
membership records in the Team Approach database, generate membership revenue
through telephone solicitations and upsell techniques, respond to and follow up
on phone/mail inquiries by sending KCET correspondence, such as the following:
KCET text schedule listings, renewal forms, new member packets and various
other types of correspondence.
perform data entry of membership and programming related mail.
to various forms of written correspondence (such as snail mail and executive
to online membership and programming inquiries.
respond to incoming member requests by telephone.
department liaison to Director by reporting statistics and daily workflow
Center customer service projects.
fundraising drive projects.
other duties as assigned.
*Must have 2
or more years of customer service experience, preferably with a service
oriented company and or a public relations background; Liberal Arts college
courses are highly desirable.
extremely well organized with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
computer literate (Internet/web resources/e-mail) with excellent PC skills
using Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel), and database management, as well as
strong typing skills.
interpersonal skills; must be a team player.
communication skills both verbal and written; a broad vocabulary (ability to
communicate well with general public and staff members); must articulate
program information in a clear and concise manner to our viewers and to the
disposition; friendly, courteous, polite, tactful and a great listener. Must be
able to deal effectively with difficult and irate callers, and work well under
very strong work ethic, and be reliable and dependable.
