On Friday, August 18, join KCET at Grand Performances for Cameron Graves - Solo Piano, Ensemble and Leon Ware Tribute.

According to revered Jazz musician Kamasi Washington, "Cameron Graves is a musical genius. He has an innovative approach to the piano that is completely unique. Cameron's new album 'Planetary Prince' is an amazing and almost unbelievable combination of modal jazz, romantic era European classical music, and mathematical death metal. A style so cool that it deserves it's own genre. Cameron's music has been inspiring me since I was thirteen years old and it still does today! I'm so glad he's sharing it with the world!"

The evening promises "conciouness-broadening Jazz Fusion and pulse-quickening energy". Grand Performances events are free to the public, and you are encouraged to get there early to find a great place to sit.

We will be in attendance with out special Huell Howser Kiosk and invite you to visit us, talk to us about programming you'd like to see, learn more about what we're currently working on, and join in discussions about issues facing your community, globally and locally.

The evening will begin with an introduction by KCET's President and CEO Michael Riley, and will be the venue the KCET Community Advisory Board reception.

We really hope to see you there.
