On Friday, September 22, join us at the Los Angeles Chamber Orchastra's concert at the free outdoor summer series of Grand Performances.

 Per the Grand Performances website:

Venezuelan-born maestro Carlos Izcaray leads this concert launching Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra's 50th Anniversary Season, with works spanning its diverse repertoire. Izcaray will provide commentary in English and Spanish, and two top students from the Colburn School will be featured: 14-year-old Community School student Kevin Miura on violin and 20-year-old Conservatory of Music student Cristina Mateo Sáez on clarinet.

Grand Performances, hailed as the "Best Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series" by Los Angeles Magazine, has featured a wide variety of cultural musical events throughout the summer. These concerts are perfect for families, dates, and group outings with your friends. Come early, bring a picnic, and prepare for two hours of entertainment.

KCET will be in attendance with our special Huell Howser Kiosk and invite you to visit us, talk to us about programming you'd like to see, learn more about what we're currently working on, and join in discussions about issues facing your community, globally and locally. We love getting a chance to meet our viewers and your feedback does make a difference.
