Anna Hohag

Anna Hohag is Nüümü (Paiute) and Newe (Shoshone) and a citizen of the Bishop Paiute Tribe of Bishop, California. She was born and raised in her tribal community in the Payahüünadü (“place of flowing water,” a.k.a. “Owens Valley”).

Anna is currently in her final year of law school at the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law, where is she is studying Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy. She is serving as President of UA's Native American Law Students Association chapter for the 2016-2017 term.
