Catherine Wagley writes about visual culture and art in Los Angeles. She is a columnist for L.A. Weekly and the Art21 Blog, and her writing has also appeared in, among others, Photograph Magazine, Sculpture Mag, ..might be good, Intelligent Life. Recently, she contributed an essay on the work of artist Zoe Crosher to the book The Reconsidered Archive of Michelle duBois (Aperture Idea) and one on Julie Heffernan to Infinite Work in Progress (Oklahoma City Museum of Art).
