Katie Cooper
Katie Cooper is a segment producer for "SoCal Connected". She is also a veteran news producer who covered the most pressing local, national and international topics for Warren Olney's shows on KCRW, "Which Way, L.A.?" and the nationally syndicated "To The Point." Formerly KCRW's resident politics expert, she also created and managed "One Year Later," a special series tied to the anniversary of 2016 election and the start of the Trump era. Katie navigated to broadcast from print, including a stint at the Los Angeles Times. She also practiced law, but realized she was in the wrong profession when she'd dream of covering news stories while researching case law.
