Lyra Kilston is a writer, editor, and 4th-generation Angeleno. "Sun Seekers: The Cure of California" (Atelier Editions, 2019) is her first book. She was on the curatorial team of "Overdrive: L.A. Constructs the Future, 1940–1990," exhibited at the J. Paul Getty Museum and the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, TIME, Wired, Next City, ICON, and Artforum, among other publications.
