Melody Chiong

Melody Chiong earned her PhD in sociology at the University of California, San Diego in 2014. Her dissertation, Conscientious Capitalism: Race, Culture and the Logic of Reinvestment at the Oldest African American Bank in Los Angeles, is based on ethnographic and archival research at Broadway Federal Bank in South Los Angeles. She is the Director of Research at Paul C. Hudson Consulting in Los Angeles.
