Michael Haas was instigator and producer of the recording series Entartete Musik at London Records, the first important retrospective of music banned by the Nazis. He has continued to work in this field as music curator at Vienna's Jewish Museum, director of research at London University's International Centre for Suppressed Music and co-chair of Exilarte, based at Vienna's Performing Arts University. He is author of "Forbidden Music: The Jewish Composers banned by the Nazis" published by Yale University Press in 2013.
