L.A. River | KCET

The Los Angeles River is the foundation of settlement in this region. While the 20th century virtually transformed it into a man-made storm drain, the past decade has seen a renaissance of the river as the site of artistic, social, educational, and recreational activity. KCET has documented and supported river communities and activities through Departures, the Northeast L.A. Riverfront project, and its ongoing coverage in Confluence.
