VOD: Meet the London Olympic Games

Every other summer, the world comes together for the FIFA World Cup and for the Olympic Games. The 2010 World Cup is over (for more on that, check out Adolfo Guzman-Lopez's blog on World Cup withdrawal) and it's time to start getting pumped up for London 2012. With exactly two years (to the very day) until the start of the games, it is an appropriate time to get to know them.

London won its bid in 2005, and has been preparing an athletic campus in East London ever since. The city will be the first to hold the modern Olympics three times.

In these fun videos, you can get to know London's Olympic Stadium (currently under construction) and the two mascots for the games. Wenlock (the orange tinted one) and Mandeville (the bluish one) represent the Olympics and the Paralympics respectively.
