Compton Creek
Plans for an urban park are in the works here at Compton Creek. The city of Compton recently purchased this land and plans to nurture its development into a regional garden. Today, it is a fun place for families to venture into the channel and explore this natural-bottomed creek, a tributary of the Los Angeles River.
