Heritage Square Museum - Victorian Houses
Eight historic structures dating to the Victorian Era were saved from demolition and moved to this location along the Arroyo Seco tributary, allowing for a unique look into the lives of Southern Californians at the end of the 19th century.

DIRECTIONS TO THE START
Car: Take the 110 Freeway and exit on Avenue 23. Turn right onto Homer Street to arrive at Heritage Square.
Transit: Take the Metro Gold Line to the Heritage Square Station. Cross Pasadena Avenue to Carlota Blvd, and continue north to Avenue 43. Walk east to Homer Street, where you'll walk down two block to the museum's entrance. You can also take the 81 Bus and get off at Figueroa and Pasadena. Head north on Figueroa Street towards Marmion Way. Make a right onto Pasadena Avenue and then a left once you reach East Avenue 37.
RECREATION
Sycamore Grove Park offers barbecue pits, a children's play area, picnic tables, lit tennis courts, a band shell, and a concession stand. In the summer, the park is the site of a performing arts festival.
Ernest Debs Park is a mid-sized park in the Arroyo and has 100 picnic tables and 20 barbecue pits.
Montecito Heights Recreation Center has an auditorium, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a children's play area, an indoor gym with weights, picnic tables, and tennis courts and volleyball courts.
