Next door to the world-class Los Angeles Zoo and botanical gardens is the Autry National Center, a museum devoted to western history. Between the zoo, the gardens and the museum there is a full day of activities....if you have the stamina.

DIRECTIONS TO THE START
TRANSIT: From downtown, take the 96 bus and exit at the L.A. Zoo stop.
CAR: Take the I-5 Freeway. Exit at 134 East and follow the signs for Zoo Drive.
With over 4,210 acres, this is the largest park in Los Angeles. It offers ample parking and numerous bike paths along the L.A. River.
