Sip These Official Oscars Cocktails

Support Provided By

The Academy Awards are airing this Sunday and most everybody with a passing interest in pop culture will be tuning in for a bit, at least at the beginning to see the parade of dresses, or the end to see who takes home the Best Picture statue.

And we plebians know that the best part of any Oscar-watching party is the plethora of snacks -- and cocktails.

As with any part of a Hollywood party, the cocktails served before and after the awards show (at the Governors Ball) are sponsored; official drinks will be imbibed by the glitterati courtesy of Patron tequila and Ultimat vodka.

We were sent the recipes for these official cocktails and wanted to pass them on to our readers for all your Oscar-watching needs -- don your fanciest eveningwear and sip along with the stars.

(Of course, we don't think you need these actual spirits brands, and we certainly don't expect your house to be stoked with gold dust. Just use these recipes as guidelines!) Cin-cin!

Lions and Tigers and Cameras! How the Movies Gave Los Angeles a Zoo

The early days of the movies in Los Angeles inadvertently allowed visitors to experience the largest collection of animals in the western United States.
