Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles has been a mainstay for almost 100 years, serving up counter lunches and groceries to office workers in a hurry. But in the last couple of years there's been a new civic focus on revitalizing Broadway, as well as a slowly increasing number of residents in the apartments around the market. And so Grand Central has had a bit of a remodel, and they've added a number of new vendors. But the "legacy vendors" are holding their own in the department of deliciousness, too.
