15 Fascinating Fruit Crate Labels

Support Provided By

Fruit crate labels are a collector's item these days. These were created for commerce, but they're works of art. Accordingly, some of them are quite salacious. Not all, of course: some are glorified depictions of California, some call upon royalty, some reflect the wordplay of the brand's name. But some of these labels, all from around 1890 to 1940, have some not-so-hidden imagery of a sexual nature, too. Whatever gets that produce sold! (Although, some are just racist.)
