A Fourth of July Cocktail
We came across this drink recipe from West Hollywood's Tortilla Republic that makes a perfect, celebratory Fourth of July drink -- you don't need to add alcohol to make it tasty, so it's great for an all-ages party. The restaurant is calling it a Freedom-rita, but we're calling it a Red White & Blue.
Red White & Blue
Makes one drink
2 oz El Jimador Blanco (or other clear tequila)
1 oz lime juice
1-1/4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz coco cream
.5 oz rasperry syrup
Shake first four ingredients together.
Pour raspberry syrup into tumbler, then top with tequila mixture.
Garnish with blueberries and raspberries.
