Cocktail Recipe: The Eastside
There's nothing illicit about Los Angeles-based distillers KIN, who are bottling un-aged whiskey to make white whiskey, better known as moonshine. But instead of the heaviness of the traditionally brown alcohol, white whiskey is more akin to vodka and other clear spirits. Here's their take on a refreshing mojito. Cheers!
Cocktail Recipe: The Eastside
Makes one cocktail
3/4 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces white whiskey
Mint and cucumber, for garnish
Add lime juice, syrup, and whiskey in a shaker filled with ice. Strain over old fashioned glass. Garnish with mint and cucumber.
