Saucy: Three Ingredient Cranberry Sauce
Making cranberry sauce might seem daunting while being tempted by the can of jellied cranberry sauce in the same aisle as the canned green beans and powdered mashed potatoes. However, this recipe will make you think twice. You can be adventurous and add a little twist like orange or lemon zest, or currants or raisins.
Ingredients
12 ounces whole cranberries
1 cup white sugar
1 cup orange juice
Instructions
1. In a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice. Stir in the cranberries and add your own twist. Regularly stir sauté until the cranberries start to pop (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and place sauce in a bowl. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
