Summer unofficially kicks off with this week's Memorial Day celebrations. We're ready for some sun and some sparkly drinks to imbibe in said sun. Grey Goose, the French vodka company, has come up with some new drink recipes for the season, which we've reprinted here. Now, they encourage you to use Grey Goose products. We make no such demands. Whatever you use, just don't drive after consumption!

GGcherry

Cherry Pressé
1½ parts cherry vodka
¾ part fresh-pressed lemon juice
1½ tsp sugar
1 part club soda

With a citrus press or squeeze of the hand, press lemon to release juice into a glass filled with ice. Add cherry flavored vodka and sugar. Stir vigorously, and top with club soda. Present with lemon, cherry and a sprig of rosemary.

Original Pressé
1½ parts vodka

Pear-Lemon-Raspberry Pressé
1½ parts pear flavored vodka
¾ part fresh-pressed lemon juice
1½ tsp sugar
6 fresh-pressed raspberries
1 part club soda

With a citrus press or squeeze of the hand, press lemon to release juice into a glass filled with ice. Add pear flavored vodka, raspberries and sugar. Stir vigorously, and top with club soda. Present with a raspberry and a sprig of mint.

GGorange

Orange Pressé
1½ parts orange flavored vodka
¾ part fresh-pressed lime juice
1½ tsp sugar
1 part club soda

With a citrus press or squeeze of the hand, press lime to release juice into a glass filled with ice. Add orange flavored vodka and sugar. Stir vigorously, and top with club soda. Present with lime and a sprig of cilantro.

Paradise Pressé
1½ parts citrus flavored vodka
¾ part fresh-pressed orange juice
½ tsp sugar
2 fresh-pressed strawberries
1 part club soda

With a citrus press or squeeze of the hand, press orange to release juice into a glass filled with ice. Add citrus flavored vodka, sugar and strawberries. Stir vigorously, and top with club soda. Present with strawberries and a sprig of basil.
