Audio Q&A: 'Darling Lili'

The KCET Cinema Series presented the 'Johnny Mercer night' on October 7 with an exclusive screening of "Darling Lili", starring Julie Andrews and Rock Hudson.

The musical film, which is rarely shown to the public, celebrated Mercer's Hollywood years and highlighted presenting sponsor, The Johnny Mercer Foundation. A special Q&A with host Pete Hammond and the film's associate producer Ken Wales took place prior to the screening. Wales shared his vast memories of working on the film and insight on how he got his first start in the entertainment business - as a projection operator at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, also home to the KCET Cinema Series!
